The respect for nature and the quality of the welcome have been our family’s cornerstones in growing the campsite to what it is now. The added developments completed over the years, plants selected in line with our Breton spirit, the pool, comfortable sanitary facilities and services offered all combine to guarantee everyone has a fantastic time in an exceptional setting.

Gisèle and Patrick, the original owners, passed their know-how down to their daughter Gwenaëlle (a name which means ‘joyful’ in Breton), who now runs the campsite with her attentive and committed team. They all have their heart set on preserving the campsite’s independent and family heritage, keeping its size average (195 pitches), whilst ensuring the site’s harmony. With an environment and services dedicated to your well-being and to the Breton art of living, everyone comes together to help make your open-air stay as pleasant as possible.

This authentic yet modern identity, imbued with Breton character, makes the campsite Les Embruns one of the most beautiful in France. It is also one of the rare campsites to have developed an eco-luxury concept so harmoniously – mixing a natural environment with an extremely high-quality welcome.

In more concrete terms, we act on all levels whilst still maintaining a form of luxury for our cottages, and comfort for our pitches and common areas.

As such, all our water sources, rentals and sanitary facilities are fitted with water-saving devices. Our bulbs were changed and switched to low-consumption ones. Electric contactors were installed in our cottages to limit energy consumption to when guests were present.

Our daily cleaning products are certified organic.

Outside, for landscaping, we use natural fertilisers (obtained through composting biodegradable food items), as well as our animals’ natural waste. We contribute to local biodiversity by planting varied species which require little to no watering. We recover part of our green waste and turn it into compost.

Whenever documents are not downloaded or sent by email, our brochures and paper-based mail are all recycled.

In wanting to share our positive vision of biodiversity and the environment, we organise walks, discovery sessions and nature tours, and prefer local distribution circuits for all our food products. Being eco-friendly is an advantage for everyone!

Having endeavoured to integrate equipment necessary for its green and elegant setting, the campsite Les Embruns was certified by the Tourisme et Handicap organisation in December 2017.

This label certifies that our campsite offers high-quality tourist and reception services perfectly-suited to reduced-mobility and disabled guests.
Nearby, portions of the GR 34 route are accessible to reduced-mobility tourists in Le Pouldu. The Bellangenêt large sandy beach also has toilets and access suitable for reduced-mobility visitors. Equipment can also be borrowed for swimming, available by asking the lifeguards.

As soon as you arrive at reception, you will be made to feel right at home in the elegant serenity of our holiday destination. The landscaped park is filled with beautiful flowers, meaning your pitch or cottage will always be surrounded by colour. Peace and quiet will be ensured by the hedgerows lining the pitches and paths.

For you to be entirely satisfied with your stay, our services also include free Wifi, access to the Villa and its library, and weekly activities. Within the campsite, the restaurant, fine foods shop, gift shop and oyster shack contribute to making your stay even more comfortable.

We can, upon request, meet any other service requirements you may have such as having your beds made upon arrival, premium access to individual sanitary facilities, and bicycle rentals.

The certification by AFNOR, under the European Eco-label ecolabels.fr obtained by the campsite guarantees our eco-responsible actions aimed at reducing our water and energy consumption and limiting the impact of our activities on nature. These actions go hand in hand with the maintenance and beautification of our landscaped environment!

As a result of particular attention, ACSI inspectors awarded us the Best Sanitary Facilities Award in a European-wide vote. This recognition motivates our teams to constantly improve our installations to offer the best possible camping experience.
