Discover in Clohars-Carnoët, the magnificent wooded site of the Saint-Maurice abbey, bordered by the Laïta.
With the permanent exhibition, you will learn, among other things, about the way of life of the monks who lived in this Cistercian abbey, its foundation and the history of this place.
You can also learn more with temporary exhibitions and enjoy original events according to the seasons.
Also take advantage of the immense park, 123 hectares all the same, to stroll, enjoy the freshness offered by the hundred-year-old trees and discover the remains of this site such as the chapter house from the 13th century, the facade of the Renaissance church, the orangery or the abbey farm.
From Saint-Maurice, you can take the GR34 along the Laïta which will lead you to the national forest of Carnoët in the north or on the coast in the south.
